          My favorite is a Hori Hori knife, suggest getting a bright orange handle so you can find it when you stick it in the ground.

            Hi Karen & Kate,

            My favorite is a Japanese harvest and weeding knife, also! It has a curved and deeply serrated 3 inch blade with a wooden handle. I have worn out a lot of these over the years!hand weeder
